American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)

American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) received a 1 year expansion award to provide TA to PMHCA awardees through September 29, 2023.

AAP is a not-for-profit professional member association with 90+ years of experience and a network of 68,000 pediatrician members.

The mission of the AAP is to attain optimal physical, mental, and social health and well-being for all infants, children, adolescents, and young adults. To accomplish this mission, the AAP shall support the professional needs of its members.

Key areas

Current PMHCA expansion award will allow AAP to provide education and technical assistance (TA) to build capacity of pediatricians and other pediatric PCPs to support the mental and relational health needs of children, adolescents, and families and effectively connect with PMHCA programs for teleconsultation and support.
