The MCHB TA Innovation Center (TAIC), (JBS International) received a 4 year contract to provide TA to PMHCA and MMHSUD awardees through September 29, 2026.

JBS works on behalf of the government, states, behavioral health providers, and vulnerable populations to build relationships and connections and to deliver innovation in communication, digital solutions, evaluation, research, training, and TA. Their end goal is to help individuals and communities identify and achieve real, measurable improvements.
Key areas
Program Capacity Building
- To assist PMHCA and MMHSUD recipients with core implementation support (strategic planning, infrastructure building, communications, and sustainability planning)
Partner-Focused Support
- To facilitate partner engagement, cross-agency coordination, and improved collaborative practice designed to further recipients’ ability to achieve their targeted outcomes; support for coordination across PMHCA and MMHSUD recipients
Provider-Focused Support
- To maximize provider recruitment, enrollment, utilization, and engagement, with the overarching goal of improving access to behavioral health care for perinatal and pediatric populations
Practice Capacity Building
- To support perinatal and pediatric primary care providers in their ability to actively participate in PMHCA and MMHSUD programs and successfully integrate behavioral health care into their practice
Population-Focused Support
- To support recipients, providers and partners in understanding and addressing their perinatal and pediatric patient populations’ needs in a culturally responsive manner through a health equity lens that centers patient and family
